Rather then bemoaning their existence and attempting to avoid them, it would be much more constructive to learn ways of solving conflicts amicably. More then any other type of business, members of family owned and run business must develop and practice conflict-resolution procedures. As the chart below indicates, family business enterprises contain several inherent conflicts of values that cannot be totally eliminated.
